SECOND ANNUAL TEN MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL
"2nd Annual" Ten Minute Play Festival, produced by New York Collective for the Arts and Pingry Drama, took place June 17-19th, 2005 and featured an outstanding collection of ten minute plays by rising playwrights as well as new plays by Broadway playwrights Stephen Belber, Paul Foster, and Robert Patrick. These modern, provocative, and timely plays were presented by up and coming actors, directors, and Pingry students in the state-of-the-art Macrae Theater in the Pingry School's Hostetter Center for the Arts, in Martinsville, NJ.

From the moment on Friday afternoon when the participants arrived to workshop the plays to when the curtain fell on the last play of Sunday's staged-reading performance, the excitement, creativity, and cohesive nature of the weekend was thrilling. The highlight, was at the close of Sunday's performance when the near sell-out crowd exploded with applause and the faces of the artists glowed in triumph. New York Collective would like to thank the all individuals who participated in this event as well as the wonderful support we received from the Pingry and Martinsville community.

The plays presented at the 2005 NYCollective/Pingry Drama Ten Minute Play Festival were:
